Responsible Play

Bciino is operated by HouseRules OÜ (registry code 14692881), Estonia. Updated 3 October 2026.

This page describes the controls currently connected to the app. It does not promise controls that are not built.

Limits

Sign in and open Settings. “My Limits” lets you edit entry counts per challenge and per day, and euro stakes per challenge, per day and per month. Values must be positive and within your tier maximum. Reductions apply immediately. Increases require acknowledgements and wait at least 24 hours before the scheduled process applies them. “Reset to defaults” restores your tier values immediately, even if that raises a limit. These limits cannot be removed through this editor.

Expand “Responsible Gambling” in Settings to set daily, weekly or monthly euro deposit and loss limits. Choose “Set” or “Edit”, enter an amount of at least €1, and save. Setting a first limit or lowering it applies immediately. Raising an existing limit is scheduled after 24 hours. Pending deposit and loss increases can be cancelled in “Pending changes”. The editor also offers “Remove this limit entirely”; removal currently applies immediately, without the cooling-off delay.

Deposit checks refuse a new deposit that would exceed the effective limit. Paid precision-entry checks enforce entry, stake and loss limits; where an administrator also sets a deposit or loss cap, the stricter cap is used. The loss check uses completed euro entry fees minus completed winnings, plus the proposed entry. The Settings loss meter instead shows entry fees without subtracting winnings. These euro controls are not a promise of equivalent limits on every coin game.

Reality checks and the five-minute break

The app checks signed-in session activity on page load and every five minutes. A reality check is shown once the configured interval has passed and completed euro entry fees have been paid during that session. The default interval is 60 minutes. Coin-only activity does not trigger this check. There is no connected Settings control for changing the interval, and no user-set maximum session duration is implemented.

The reminder shows elapsed session time, euro stakes and net euro winnings minus stakes. “Continue playing” becomes available after five seconds. Continuing records the check; it does not end the session. You can also log out or choose “Take a 5-minute break”. A successful break request saves its end time on the server and displays a blocking break screen. Precision entries and new deposit requests check that saved break time. There is no equivalent server break check established here for every other coin-game action.

The break lifts when its end time passes. The screen counts down and closes; the next session check clears the expired server time. There is no early-cancel button. If the break request fails, no saved break is guaranteed.

Self-exclusion

In Settings, expand “Responsible Gambling”, choose “Self-Exclude / Take a Break”, select a period and confirm. Available periods are 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months (implemented as 180 days), or permanent. A reason is optional. Once saved, your account switches to an exit-only view: you can see your balance, sell open positions and withdraw, but every entry, deposit and staked creation is refused on the server until the period ends. Open entries resolve normally and their winnings are credited. Any euro balance is returned to you automatically.

A timed exclusion expires when its saved end time passes and is marked expired by an exclusion check or the scheduled sweep. You may then sign in again. There is no early-reactivation control. The request handler permits only a longer replacement period while an exclusion is active; permanent exclusion has no expiry or reversal flow. Confirmation email and in-app notification are attempted, but notification failure does not undo the saved exclusion.

Asking for help

Signed-in users can open Support, create a ticket and choose “Responsible Gambling”. The app saves the ticket and first message in the support queue. Support staff can claim it, reply and change its status; you can read the replies and respond in the ticket. Asking for help does not itself set a limit, start a break or exclude your account. There is no automatic counselling referral, emergency service or guaranteed response time implemented.

The Settings panel links to external support resources. Gambling Therapy is also available without a Bciino account. External services are separate from Bciino; contact them directly. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency service.
